Browse & Search Basics
DrugBank Browse & Search allows users to view and explore the entirety of DrugBank data. Users can narrow down their searches by type (trials, drugs, targets, pathways, or conditions) and navigate the different types of “cards” we use to organize information so that it is easy to track and follow. Some of these cards include drug cards, clinical trial cards, conditions cards, and bio-entity cards.
The information included in these cards is interconnected, meaning that it is possible to go from one type of card to another (for example, you can click on the drugs associated with a specific bio-entity and view each of their drug cards). This way, we eliminate the need to jump from one environment to another.
The DrugBank Browse & Search tool also features quick views that can be activated by hovering over each of the search elements. These provide summarized information that can help make the search process more efficient.
In the DrugBank Browse & Search section, we have included a quickstart and in-depth explanation of how to use this feature and make the most of it.
